The Youth of St. Paul have always been active in our church.  For many years, various members of the Faculty/Staff, as well as lay leaders, assumed responsibility for their activities.  In 1984 a Youth Board was established to oversee all Youth activities.  Youth Ministry received a renewed emphasis when Jeff Moeller was called to serve as full-time Director of Christian Education (D.C.E.) in 1988.  A Youth Board was also created to assist the D.C.E. with his responsibilities.  In 1990 members felt a permanent space was needed for the Youth, so the basement facility underwent renovations creating a "Youth Room".  Jeff served the congregation until 1992.

Patrick Pelltier assumed lay leadership of the Youth from 1992 - 1996.

Our next called D.C.E. was Kurt Mews.  He served the congregation from 1996 - 1999.  Kurt left Youth Ministries to become a L.C.M.S. Pastor.

Our next called D.C.E. was Andy Frerich who served from 1999 - 2005.  During Andy's years of service the "Fish Tank" came into existence.  The "Fish Tank" is a separate facility on the corner of our church property currently being used for Bible Study and other events.

Our current D.C.E. is Josh Gerken who was called by our congregation in 2006.
