In Who Would Have Thought? author Chuck Strohacker uses anecdotal stories, real-life situations, and personal observations to share the truth of God's love as shown in the birth of Jesus. His devotional style is somewhat non-traditional casting light on the unparalleled marvel of God's love. Perfect for sharing the season with someone new to the faith.
From Nazareth to Bethlehem boldly declares God's love and grace in the borth of His Son, Jesus Christ, in a style that's familiar and time-honored. In these texts, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod International Center Chaplain Vern Gundermann takes the reader on a number of journeys. Reflective devotions for taking a new look at well-known stories.
"Activated by the Holy Spirit and through the Word, Lutheran Hour Ministries are a global movement of Christians empowered and equipped to communicate the Gospel of Christ to all people".
Lutheran Hour Ministries of St. Paul is a group affiliated with Lutheran Hour Ministries of the International Lutheran Laymen's League. The group meets every month (except in January & February) on the third Monday evening of the month. The programs feature guest speakers and programs of interest to members of our congregation, as well as updates on Lutheran Hour Ministries. The group supports all the programs of the International LLL as well as efforts of the Northwest Ohio Zone, such as Ohio Grain Train, Lutheran Hour Ministries, Fair Booth at the Henry County Fair and the sponsorship of "The Lutheran Hour" and "Woman to Woman" programs on our local radio stations (WNDH and WDFM). For more information, or to become a Lutheran Hour sponsor, contact Loren Volkman or the church office.
