Paul Eggebrecht - Grade 6, Upper Grade Science

     Mr. Eggebrecht was born the youngest of 3 children in Hammond, Indiana in 1965.  He was raised in Calumet City, Illinois (just across the state line) and attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Hammond, Indiana, which is, now located in Munster, Indiana from grades 4-8 graduating in 1979.  He attended Luther East High School in Lansing, Illinois graduating in 1983.  He attended Concordia University River Forest, Illinois and graduated in 1987 with a B.A. in Elementary Education specializing in Math and Theology.  Mr. Eggebrecht did his student teaching at St. Paul Lutheran School Munster, Indiana with 33 students in the 6th Grade.  His first teaching assignment was at Immanuel Lutheran School Belvidere, Illinois with 5th Grade homeroom and departmentalized 8th Grade Math.  While at Immanuel Belvidere he served as full-time director of Youth and 7/8 Grade Girls Basketball coach.  His second teaching assignment was at St. John Lutheran School South Euclid, Ohio with 7th Grade homeroom and departmentalized 8th Grade in Math.  While at St. John South Euclid he served as 7/8 Grade Boys Basketball coach, 5-8 Track coach, 7/8 Boys Softball coach, and 7/8 Girls Volleyball coach. In 1991, while at St. John, he married Stephanie (Bernath) Eggebrecht who was also teaching there.  He began teaching at St. Paul in the Fall of 1992, and has taught classes in grades 5-8.  Currently his is the 6th grade homeroom teacher and also teaches science in the upper grades.     Mr. Eggebrecht is married to Mrs. Eggebrecht who also teaches at St. Paul and has been blessed with two daughters Jessica and Kim.
