Mr. Wentzel received a call to teach the 5^th Grade at St. Paul Lutheran School in Napoleon, Ohio in 1973. He taught the 5^th Grade until 1980 when he accepted a call to serve as Principal and Music Director at St. Paul. He continues to serve in these capacities. 

 

In 2011 Mr. Wentzel was recognized by the Lutheran Education Association as a Distinguished Lutheran Elementary Administrator, a national honor.
