"Angel Tree Project":

**"One of the projects that the Social Ministry Board has done the past several years to try and help those who are having a difficult time over the holidays is to box up a traditional Thanksgiving meal and deliver the boxes to those who otherwise might not have the means to provide a Thanksgiving meal for their family.  This year, we are trying something new for the Christmas holiday.  We want to put Christ back into Christmas for those who might not otherwise have much to celebrate so we are "adopting" these families and purchasing gifts for them as well as food and household goods.  We are calling this our "Angel Tree Project" and encouraging our church family to reach out and help those less fortunate as Christ would have us do.
